Every year we look at different ways to convey our story and reinvent our products. One of the ideas that came to mind was for us to commemorate the events that took place last year in Tokyo during 2021 (we cannot name the event for legal reasons). The line drop was unfortunately delayed due to events that took place as a result of political instability, however, we did not want to waste the vision we had in mind.

We then went through a series of vigorous translations and writing styles until we finally settled on our new Katakana text.

Everyone that contributes to the betterment of Vivid is considered a part of the Vivid Nation. With this line we also wanted to display the pride we have in the community we have built over the years and wear the "VIVID NATION" title like a flag on our chests.

We then decided to use the same phrase as a borrowed word within the Japanese language to create a best of both worlds situation.

Everything is always better with a backstory, thank you to all those that resonated with the language shift as well as those who assisted with the translation. We love you all, and thank you for being a part of what we are trying to create.
